7/27/18

-The date your account was created will now be displayed on player profiles.

-Sir Gawain at home can now also manage your ranks that you are eligible for

  • This is just responsible for rank icons, so your ironman/hardcore/donator perks are not affected, regardless of the rank icon displayed.
  • This is mainly for players who wish to choose between showing their donator icon, veteran icon, or iron icon, etc. 
  • This also allows players to claim their veteran rank in-game, as it will check if you are eligible or not.

-Dwarf MultiCannon has been unlocked at the Slayer Tower as well as the Catacombs.

-Skillcapes

  • Cooking skillcape will now teleport you inside of the Rouge's den when operated
  • Untrimmed skillcapes have the perks now too
  • Moved the fishing skillcape teleport directly to the fishing guild bank, saves a lot of running for clues
  • Prayer skillcape will now teleport you directly to the chaos altar in the wildy church when operated (which gives 50% chance of not using up bones)
  • Magic skillcape will now grant you the ability to swap spellbooks every 3 minutes (either operating or right clicking it in your inventory)

 

7/26/18

-Fixed a bug that caused the first spell casted on login to always deal 0 damage

  • Had to deal with saradomin sword special, which was also fixed

-Attack delay was set to 0 after killing an npc which is not correct, it will now remember your remaining combat delay when going onto the next npc to kill

  • Example of this would be using full dharok and one hitting an npc and having no weapon delay on the next attack

-Crystal and gold key loot will go on the ground if you do not have enough inventory space for all of the rewards

-33% more likely to get a super rare item from the golden chest now

-All max capes will now function as an ava's accumulator

-Fixed all weapons that poison/venom in multi-combat scenarios where it would do it to any npc attacking you when it should have been only the npc you are currently fighting

-New ornament items added to the vote store! Get your fashionscape on 😉 (50 vote tickets)

  • Armadyl godsword (or) - can be dismantled to give back regular godsword and ornament kit
  • Bandos godsword (or) - can be dismantled to give back regular godsword and ornament kit
  • Saradomin godsword (or) - can be dismantled to give back regular godsword and ornament kit
  • Zamorak godsword (or) - can be dismantled to give back regular godsword and ornament kit
  • Necklace of anguish (or) - can be dismantled to give necklace and ornament kit, added the +5% range strength to this version as well
  • Amulet of torture (or) - can be dismantled to give back amulet and ornament kit
  • Occult necklace (or) - can be dismantled to give back necklace and ornament kit, added the +10% magic damage to this version as well

-You can now buy back vote tickets from the vote shop if you want to refund your unspent vote points

-Fixed a bug where depositing worn inventory with autocasting staves (tridents/elder wand) would make you unable to attack because it thought you still had the staff equipped

-Fixed a bug with thrown ranged weapons

-Account pin is no longer asked for inside the wilderness

-Weapon game

  • Weapon game kills required for reward changed from 3 kills to only 1
  • Weapon game next departure timer is now in minutes and seconds rather than ticks
  • Adjusted prices
    • Mystery box reduced from 6,000 to 1,500 points
    • Crystal key reduced from 2,000 to 1,000 points
    • Golden key reduced from 7,000 to 3,500 points
    • Medium clue scroll reduced from 4,000 to 1,500 points
    • Super potion set reduced from 5,000 to 2,000 points
    • 25 super combat potions reduced from 15,000 to 3,000 points
    • Resource packs reduced from 8,000 to 4,500 points
    • 100 dragon darts reduced from 3,000 to 500 points

-Wilderness sword 4 now teleports you directly to the Fountain of Rune. It will also grant free entrance to the Wilderness Resource if equipped or in your inventory

-Raid pet drop raids slashed to 1:500. Whoever gets the kill (based on most damage) will be the player rewarded with the pet.

-Added monkey greegree to the donator store (allows you to run around as a bearded gorilla)

7/21/18

-Fixed some npcs in GWD not being attackale

-Added karambwan and karambwanji fishing spots at home, donator zone, and wilderness resource

  • You need raw karambwanji (5 fishing, small net) to catch karambwan (65 fishing, karambwan vessel obtained in general store and misc iron store). 
  • Raw karambwanji are used as bait to catch karambwan.

-Crafting dragonhide armor will now grant 1.5x more exp than it used to. Ex: blue d'hide body gave 7k exp, now it will give 10.5k xp. Useful collecting hides from vorkath for irons (effective next restart)

-Zamorak brews doses are now worth 2.5k each, so they sell for 10k as a (4)

-Dragon bolts(unf) drop from Vorkath moved from uncommon to common table

-Redwood tree ladders fixed

-New client uploaded to fix a couple of npcs that had no right click options (Monarchs, and a few pets). Please redownload and delete any old clients to prevent launching an old one and becoming confused 🙂

-Fixed certain items in shops that would check the status of the item when trying to buy/sell them. Ex: toxic blowpipe, tridents, serpentine helmets

-Removed slayer helmet(i) from slayer shop, added imbue scroll. The imbue scroll can now be applied to the slayer helmet, and is also used to imbue the 3 DK rings, ring of suffering, and wilderness rings.

-Added ruby dragonbolts(e), fletchable by using dragon bolts on ruby tips. Works with armadyl & dragon hunter crossbow

-Added new raid pets (1:1000 chance of receiving upon killing the respective npc)

  • Puppadile  Puppadile
  • Tektiny  Tektiny
  • Mini vanguard Mini vanguard (any one of the three vanguards can drop it)
  • Vasa minirio  Vasa minirio

-Evil chicken random event now drops 100% mystery box on death

-Removed some useless items from the uncommon Vorkath table (higher chance of the dragon bolts now)

 

 

7/7/18

-Misc bug fixes

  • If the item you're selling + the amount of cash in your inventory went over max cash it would not give you the rest, added a check to prevent this.
  • God war dungeon altar teleport now has a 2 minute cooldown
  • Fixed a bug where the clue scroll agent would spawn ontop of the bank booth in the fishing guild making him unattackable by melee
  • You can now combine extended antifire potions
  • Fixed a bug where training defense with a melee weapon would result in defence xp being gained while using a bow on rapid style
  • Fixed redwood trees spawning sideways - it was fine before but the object ids changed for the trees
  • Also fixed the redwood ladders, they were shifted a coordinate so they no longer worked.
  • Fixed a bug where you could safespot corp from outside the room

 

7/5/18

-Melee only does 1/3 damage to Vorkath now as it was too effective

  • However DWH+BGS special attack will still do the full damage

-Range prayer now halves the damage from range attacks

-Redid the Vorkath dragonfire damage as players were able to take no damage without even wearing an anti-dragon shield from the breath attacks

  • Extended antifire + any type of anti-dragon shield = no damage
  • Regular antifire + any type of anti-dragon shield = 20% damage
  • No anti-dragon shield + regular antifire = 70% damage
  • No anti-dragon shield + extended antifire = 50% damage

-Combat will now reset during the crab attack so you can focus on killing it rather than still attacking vorkath

-Lowered vorkath's defence level, slightly increased the duration of the fire bomb in the air

-Vorkath now rolls two drops

 

7/4/18

I'm happy to announce that Vorkath is now officially released! It has 100% OSRS combat mechanics so a good reference guide can be found here. It was a ton of work but I feel that the time invested was well worth it as it is now a permanent feature of Draynor where no corners were cut and will be enjoyed for many players to come! It was a very fun boss that constantly keeps you on your toes and plenty of 'oh sh*t' moments 😛

To get here you can teleport to ::train and just run west to the Pier and you will find the Sailor. Alternatively, if you have the fremennik sea boots 4 (dropped by Wild Krab), they will teleport you directly to the ice crystal that you hop over to enter Vorkath's lair. This saves you about 15 seconds of running each time.

 

Some basic tips:

Acid pool/fireball special attack: Keep your run off and set far waypoints on the map so that you're character is never close to stopping as you will take massive damage standing still and its not enough to just alternate between 2 tiles

Crab special attack: Crumble undead is the best thing to use as it will kill it in one shot 100% of the time. Once you see Vorkath use his white dragonfire/ice barrage on you, spam click the ground so that you don't continue attacking him or else this will add combat delay to your spell and then the crab will explode before you can kill it

You need anti-posion for the venom dragonfire

Antifire/extended antifires help, and any kind of anti-dragon shield

DWH/BGS are a good idea to lower his defence

Single fire bolt attack: If you stay on the same tile you will be instantly killed as it deals 115 damage.  1 tile away you will take 57 damage, 2+ tiles away no damage taken

 

Things that were added:

Combat Mechanics:

  • Melee attack: If players are in range, he swipes at the player with his wings/claws (slash-based).
  • Magic attack: Launches a bright-blue projectile at the player. Protect from Magic completely negates damage.
  • Ranged attack: Launches a spiked ball at the player that hits up to 32 damage. Protect from Missiles blocks this attack.
  • Dragonfire: Multiple dragonfire types.
    • Normal Dragonfire
    • Venom Dragonfire: Dragonfire that has a chance to inflict the venom status if not venom immune.
    • Pink Dragonfire: Dragonfire that disables all prayers upon impact.
  • High-damage Dragonfire: Vertically launched dragonfire at the player's position when cast. Deals up to 115 damage, but is halved if the player is next to the targeted spot when the dragonfire lands. Red = death, orange tiles = 57 damage, green area and beyond = safe.

  • After every six attacks, Vorkath alternates between one of two special attacks:
  • Poison Pool Quickfire Barrage: Launches acid around the arena and proceeds to fire a barrage of 25 dragonfires at the player. Any damage taken while standing on the acid heals Vorkath for the same amount; up to 10 damage per tick. Should the player stand still, the dragonfire barrage deals 30-40 damage per hit regardless of prayers. Additionally, Vorkath takes 50% reduced damage until the special attack ends.

  • Zombified Ice Dragonfire: Vorkath freezes the player in place with damageless ice dragonfire, summons a zombified spawn, and is immune to all damage while the spawn is alive. The spawn moves approaches the player and, if not killed first, explodes on impact dealing up to 60 damage scaling off of its remaining Hitpoints. Players should queue the Crumble Undead spell and cast on the spawn as soon as it lands to prevent damage during this special attack (it will one hit the spawn 100% of the time). Once the spawn is killed, the special attack ends which frees the player and removes Vorkath's immunity.
  • Crab spawn locations (Green lines are the boundaries where the player can be for the spawn locations (crab spawn is X)) Maybe not the best diagram but basically it will spawn in the corner of the side you're on

Items/Misc:

  • Replaced loot 25 barrows chest with kill 100 vorkath achievement
  • Added him as a slayer task (and count as a blue dragon task)
  • Added him to the slayer task reset form
  • Added assembler max cape and ability to create it by using an assembler on a regular max cape, equipment stats
    • Added the thieving/mining cape perk to it and also the drop rate boost
  • Added ava's accumulator assembler, functional in combat, ability to make it, equipment stats
    • 80% chance of retrieving arrows
  • Added guaranteed 50th kill vorkath's head drop (used with ava accumulator to make assembler)
  • Added turquoise slayer helmet, functional on slayer task, ability to make it (Vorkath's head + slayer helmet), equipment stats
  • Add dragon bolts/(e) & ability to fletch them
    • +122 range strength, shot by armadyl and dragon hunter crossbow
    • 84 fletching to create them
  • Sailor in Rellekka to travel to and from the island, located just west of ::train at the pier
  • Fremennik sea boots 4 (dropped by Wild Krab) teleport you directly to Vorkath's island (saves the 15 second run every time)

 

7/3/18

-Testing vorkath in-game

-Fixed a bug that allowed players to create potions faster

-Completionist cape now acts as an ava assembler rather than accumulator (+8% chance of keeping arrows)

-Fixed healing players in raid (where it was deleting their fish too and being able to heal across the room)

-Fremennik sea boots 4 (from wild krab) teleport you directly to Vorkath. Otherwise you can get there by running from ::train to the pier just west (only takes about 10 seconds)

-Marks of grace for completion of ardougne and seers rooftop courses now go to inventory

 

 

7/2/18

-Fixed some issues I found with Vorkath combat, will continue looking for bugs tomorrow and if it looks good I'll restart the server tomorrow to test it in-game again just to make sure I transferred over everything and then it will be officially released 🙂

  • Finished last special attack for vorkath
    • Spawns acid pools, taking up to 10 damage per tick when in one
    • Fireballs that will hit 30-40 on you if you are not moving
    • Halved damage against Vorkath during this attack
  • Removed the respawn option on the ice glacier and made vorkath turn to sleep mode after death, I read that after vorkath dies its supposed to go back to sleep form so it was unnecessary

Coloured slayer helmets are as always a huge bonus and a cool way to show off your pvm exploits.:cool:

They might just come enchanted already when making them like all the other bolts just to be consistent

You're not supposed to melee Vorkath, you're supposed to range it, melee was 2-3x faster so it was nerfed so range is better

Melee shouldn't be viable really, but I left the bgs/dwh spec alone so that you can still get the full effect. I will take a look at lowering some of his defense stats so that he can be killed slightly quicker overall.
